 Statement of Intent  In my covers and contents pages of my magazine, I plan to use different codes and conventions that would appeal to a 16-25 year old audience. I will be doing this through use of language, colour schemes, and try to relate my content to the current times. So in the first pair of magazine cover and contents page I will take inspiration from fairly simple real-life story magazine covers, as I don’t believe a busy looking cover would appeal to my desired target audience. I plan to achieve this through using collaging techniques to create the main focal image and then have additional photos and text over the top too. This whole issue will focus on the recent lockdowns and how they have affected people in the community. I believe this idea will fit nicely into the genre of real-life story magazines as the majority tend to have a main topic with multiple stories to do with it.
